Reviews:
CNET editors' review,
editor's rating 3.5 stars, 06/19/2007 by
Bonnie Cha The bottom line:
The sleek Mio C520 is a good-value GPS
device, packing in advanced navigation features, a large screen, and
other extras for an affordable price. However, you can get a better
user experience and smoother performance from competing systems.
PC Magazine,editor
very good, Mio Digiwalker C520 06.05.07, by Craig Ellison The Mio
DigiWalker C520 offers a lot of value for the money spent. Its
widescreen, large POI database, text-to-speech conversion, and improved
user interface make it a worthy competitor in the medium-price GPS
category.

4.5 stars, Mio Digiwalker C520 Review,
Feb 08,
2007 by Ross Cantanzariti (excerpt) Dubbed the
world's first split screen mobile in-car GPS device, the Mio DigiWalker
C520 boasts a 4.3in widescreen, Sensis R14 mapping, 500,000 Points of
Interest (POI), audio playback and Bluetooth. Also utilising
text-to-speech technology, the C520 combines an excellent display with a
convenient split screen feature, allowing you to see next turn
information, speed, points of interest and more - in tandem with the map
screen.

Excerpt from the review rated most useful: It has some
cool features, like the ability to display map coordinates and altitude,
and has the ability to automatically synchronize time and date with the
satellite. It's signal pickup is lightening fast due to the
state-of-the-art 20-channel SirfStarIII receiver. It actually picks up
the satellite signal from inside my house. The Mio is perhaps among the
best GPS' out there at any price!
