PCWorld
review 85/100 by Liane Cassavoy, Nov 13, 2008
The Navigon 2200T isn't the slickest or most feature-packed GPS
product on the block, but it delivers decent navigation and lifetime
traffic service for an extremely low price. It includes
text-to-speech capability, which means that it pronounces street
names for you. The routes that the 2200T provided were decent, but
not exceptional.

The good news is Navigon's 2200T ($229 list) is not only affordably
priced, it comes with an integrated traffic receiver and a lifetime
traffic update subscription...some GPS manufacturers charge upward
of $100 for optional traffic receivers and around $60 a year for a
traffic subscription.
The 2200T features a comparatively small 3.5-inch, 320-by-240-pixel
screen.
Consumer Reports
61/100 Best Buy
The 2200T marks a significant improvement over previous Navigon
units. Notably, address entry is simpler and calculation time has
improved. However, the touchscreen remains less responsive than
competing models. The standout feature is free real-time traffic,
particularly at its modest as-tested price. Average
user rating based on

Cnet Reviews
editors rating 3 stars by Bonnie Cha,
Feb 06, 2009 The good: The Navigon 2200T
offers free real-time traffic updates for life as well as
text-to-speech functionality and reality view for major highway
exchanges. The bad: The screen size is
rather small. Satellite acquisition is slow. The bottom line: The Navigon
2200T takes some time to warm up but the GPS offers a lot of bang
for your buck, including free traffic updates for life.

First impression on the unit is the design is very nice, small and
compact which can easily put inside my pocket. It takes a long time
to log onto the satellites.
